These terms form the agreement between you and Outback Gourmet Grill Pty Ltd (ABN 63 904 217 582) trading as Rockpool Bar & Grill at Crown Melbourne when you book, dine, attend an event, buy a voucher or browse this website.
1. Bookings and reservations
Reservations are confirmed when we issue a booking confirmation by email or SMS. For parties of eight or more, the Chef's Table and private events, a card guarantee or deposit may be required — the amount is disclosed before you commit.
Tables are held for 15 minutes past the reservation time. If your party will be later, call us and we will hold the table where the night's bookings allow.
Cancellation terms for each booking type are stated at the time of reservation and summarised in our Refund Policy.
2. In the venue
Our dress code is smart casual; singlets, work boots and offensive clothing are declined at the door at the manager's discretion.
We are a licensed premises under Victorian liquor law. Responsible service of alcohol applies: service may be refused to intoxicated or underage patrons, and identification may be requested at any time.
Entry to gaming areas is restricted to guests 18 and over and is subject to Crown Melbourne's own entry conditions and our Mahogany Salon membership terms.
3. Pricing and payment
Menu prices include GST. Surcharges are disclosed on the menu: 10% on Sundays, 15% on public holidays, and 1.5% for American Express and international card transactions.
Gift vouchers and experience packages are sold under the terms stated on the voucher — 36 months' validity, transferable, non-redeemable for cash and not usable for gaming chips.
Quotes for private and corporate events are fixed in the proposal document and honoured for 14 days.
4. Website use
Content on this website — copy, photography, design and the Outback Gourmet Grill name — is our property and may not be reproduced commercially without written consent.
The site is provided as-is. While we work to keep menus, prices and event listings current, the printed in-venue menu prevails where they differ.
You must not use the site to transmit malicious code, scrape content in bulk, or submit false booking or contact information.
5. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability for services is limited to resupplying the service or refunding its cost. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
We are not liable for loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control — power failures, supplier non-delivery, venue directives or emergency closures.
Property left in the venue is held for 30 days, then donated or disposed of. Valuables are retained at owner risk; use the cloakroom.
6. General
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts and tribunals.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder continues in force. Our failure to enforce a right once is not a waiver of it.
